Backed by Family.

I started my fire career in Arizona in 2017 and was the first person in my family to become a firefighter.

Before that, I grew up playing ice hockey. Looking back, I think that explains a lot. I always loved being part of a team—the locker room atmosphere, the friendships, and showing up for the people around you. Fire service felt familiar in that way. The station became another locker room.

I also loved the medical side of the job and the responsibility that comes with it. There's something powerful about responding to someone's worst day and knowing you need to perform at your absolute best.

Over the years I worked through three fire academies, completed paramedic school, became an engineer, and am currently bid on our department's ladder truck. I've also spent time on our wildland team responding to deployments across Arizona and California.

But none of that happened alone.

I've been with my wife Alicia since 2014 and we got married in 2017. We have two kids, Addyson and Liam. Along with my parents, family, and friends, they've been the support system behind every step.

Truthfully, I wouldn't be here without them.

That support became a huge reason behind Station Beer and eventually led us to one of our core ideas:

Backed by Family.

Station life

The idea for Station Beer wasn't created in a boardroom.

It happened around station life.

Station life revolves around more than calls.

Some of the best parts of the job happen around the kitchen table—dinner after a long day, the morning of day two, shift change, or sitting around with your crew decompressing between calls.

The dinner table is sacred.

In a joking way, it's where we solve the world's problems. It's where stories get told, life gets talked about, and where crews become family.

Those moments always mattered to me.

And I wanted Station Beer to feel like part of that.

Like a lot of firefighters, we were constantly grabbing sparkling waters, coffee, energy drinks, and whatever else would get us through long shifts.

The problem was most flavored waters tasted like someone walked fruit past the can, and most functional options either came loaded with sugar or felt like another version of an energy drink.

Coffee had its place.

Energy drinks had their place.

Electrolyte packets had their place.

But it felt like something was missing.

Eventually it clicked.

Station Beer is a non-alcoholic functional sparkling water built for long shifts, recovery, and high-output lifestyles. Whether it's electrolytes, caffeine, or everyday hydration, the goal is simple: create something healthier that actually serves a purpose.

And because beer obviously isn't part of shift life, firefighters jokingly started calling the seltzers in the fridge:

Station Beers.

What started as a station joke felt like something bigger.

Five years from now, I want Station Beer in fire stations and stores across the country.

I want it to become part of firefighter culture.

More importantly, I want it to create a community and give back to the profession that gave me a career and life I'm grateful for.

Cancer support, firefighter health initiatives, and helping firefighter families are things that matter deeply to us.

If someone grabs a Station Beer, I want them to feel like they're part of something bigger than a drink.

Healthy.
Reliable.
Fun.

And part of a community.

Because Station Beer was never just about a beverage.

It's about family, culture, and giving back to the people who helped build us.
